Winnie Chan is a qualified nurse with working experiences in major hospitals in Hong Kong and London. After completing a course on Art Therapy, she decided to study Fine Arts in RMIT of Australia and the Hong Kong Art Centre.

"Till Death Do Us Part" (¦Ü¦º¤£´ü) is an installation work. Using metal wires to represent the male and woolen yarn the fairer sex, she built up a number of motives which intricate together in the construction the final work.

"Man and Woman" further explores the above theme.

"Calligraphy with Xu Bing" is another installation work which has been exhibited in the Hong Kong Art Centre. In 1989, Chinese artist Xu Bing shocked the world with his ground breaking work on the relations between Chinese writings, calligraphy and cultural identity. Lately in America Xu Bing has been instrumental in bringing the aesthetic values of Chinese calligraphy to a Western audience.
